If there is an alarm or a warning, you will receive an anonymised picture of the room, and can assess whether the incident is of a serious nature that requires an emergency call. Healthcare professionals can also use the app’s audio features to either contact the resident or listen into the room to assess the severity of the incident. In addition, one can also put on two-way speech to talk to the citizen. Listening can be done anonymously, so that you can not hear what is being said, but assess the situation based on voice volume and intensity. When the cause of the alarm has been clarified, the notification is acknowledged, and notes may also be made directly in the journal system from the RoomMate app.
